Our Mission

Code4aCause brings together developers and designers to create technology to empower nonprofits who improve the quality of life in central Oklahoma.

By tapping into local technology volunteers we've created a sustainable event to develop or improve the web presence of selected nonprofits.

Each year we seek to expand the number of nonprofits we are able to reach by expanding our volunteer base and the scope of our annual Code-a-thon event launching Summer 2009.

How it Works

Non-Profits - Submit application an application for a website technology need.  This can range from not having a website at all to needing website improvements, i.e. a way to take online donations.  Our selection committee will choose each project based on certain considerations.  For more information Click Here!

Developers & Designers - Volunteer for the Saturday Extreme Web Makeover event.  Each  team will take one of the selected projects and create the design & code to make it work.  For more information Click Here!

Each project will be assigned a lead to help ensure it empowers the non-profit's mission and it can be accomplished within the scope of the event.  Team leads will work with the nonprofit prior to the event to craft the project plan.
