The Extreme Web Makeover Event is almost upon us. The excitement is building daily and everyone is working hard to get all the pieces in place. From video shoots of each of this year's nonprofits to picking up good swag for the dev/design teams, the event will be a blast for everyone! Below is the schedule for the event at the OkcCoCo on Saturday August 29th.
8:00 AM - Event Volunteers show up at the OkcCoCo to setup
9:00 AM - Dev/Design Team Check in and Nonprofits Arrive. Breakfast by Prairie Thunder Baking Company
10:30 AM - Training Session for the Nonprofits "Tell your story - essential tools for communicating" by Evolve Research
12:30 PM - Lunch by Rococo
2:00 PM - Training Session for the Nonprofits "Event Planning/Fundraising in Cyberspace"
5:00 PM - Work Stops. Everyone gets a chance to take a break and relax!
7:00 PM - Celebration Starts. Everyone starts making their way back to the OkcCoCo to celebrate the all the hard work from the day! Food will be provided as well as beer by Coop Ale Works!
7:30 PM - Presentation Ceremony. All the hard work will be shown off and everyone gets to see what the teams were up to!
8:00 PM - After Party. We'll continue the celebration, mingling and fun from a great day where great things were accomplished for the OKC Community!
In just a short time the talent of a number of local designers & developers will be helping to change our community for the better. We can't wait!
