Project Process

Step One - Project Submission

Non-Profits throughout the metro area can fill out our Project Application.  

 

Step Two - Project Selection

Each project will be reviewed and selected according to certain Selection Considerations.   The selection committe is made up of a cross funcational group of people including technology expertise, community expertise and non-profit expertise.  

 

Step Three - Volunteer Review

The volunteer development teams review the selected projects and choose their top two favorite projects.  The Code4aCause board will then assign each team to a certain project.  

 

Step Four - Pre-Event 

Before the Extreme Web Makeover event a designed project team lead will work with each Nonprofit to build the project plan.  This ensures that the project will can be completed during the Code-a-thon.  

 

Step Five - The Event

The Extreme Web Makeover event is a one day design & development party.  After the smoke settles and the projects are finished the awards ceremony celebrates the hard work and dedication of all the teams and individuals helping to improve our community.
